Summary: A practical release and receiving checklist for materials, cut laminations, packets and assembled cores.
Version 1.0.0 · 2026-09-27
Use with the approved drawing and purchase specification. Write the
applicable acceptance limit, sample size, measurement method and
evidence reference beside each check. Do not treat a published
capability figure as an automatic limit for every order.
1. Document and material
identity
- ☐ Supplier, order, drawing number and
revision match the release documents. - ☐ Coil or batch identification
connects the supplied material to its MTC. - ☐ Grade, nominal thickness, coating
and supplied format match the purchase specification. - ☐ MTC test conditions and units match
the material acceptance basis.
2. Cut parts and packets
- ☐ Strip width, cut length, angle, hole
and notch dimensions meet the agreed drawing and sampling
plan. - ☐ Burr and edge condition are measured
at the agreed locations by the agreed method. - ☐ Insulating coating shows no
unacceptable damage under the agreed visual criterion. - ☐ Packet count, orientation, markings
and step-lap sequence are traceable.
3. Assembled core, when
supplied
- ☐ Window, limb, yoke, overall and
interface dimensions meet the approved revision. - ☐ Stacking factor is checked only
against the agreed area definitions and measurement
condition. - ☐ Clamping, alignment, lifting
features and temporary restraint match the order scope. - ☐ Surface condition and identification
remain acceptable after handling.
4. Magnetic
performance, only when contracted
- ☐ Core condition, excitation
arrangement, frequency, flux density and instrument method are
recorded. - ☐ Acceptance limits for no-load loss
and exciting current are identified in the order. - ☐ Test results are compared with
like-for-like conditions. An MTC is not used as a finished-core test
report. - ☐ Any deviation, retest or concession
is formally approved and retained.
5. Packing and handover
- ☐ Edge protection, moisture control,
supports and restraint suit the supply format and transport
route. - ☐ Case or pallet markings, mass,
centre of gravity and lifting instructions are present where
required. - ☐ Packing list, dimensional report,
MTC set, agreed photographs and conformity documents are
complete. - ☐ Receiving inspection records
transport damage and preserves evidence before unpacking or
assembly.

Practical Notes
Use the current approved drawing, material specification and purchase order. Document the measurement basis and acceptance limits before production; this reference does not set contract values.
