PRODUCTTransformer cores
Distribution Transformer Cores
Factory-direct distribution transformer cores. Precise lamination processing and organised batch production keep your assembly line supplied.

01 / Specification
Product specification
- Application
- Utility and industrial distribution transformers
- Geometry
- Single-phase or three-phase, to drawing
- Material
- Specified CRGO / GOES grade and thickness
- Joint
- Step-Lap sequence to the lamination schedule
- Cut-edge control
- Burr height <0.02 mm
- Assembled stack
- Stacking factor >97%
Burr height and stacking factor are manufacturing controls. Order acceptance is agreed for the specified material, coating, stack condition, drawing tolerances and measurement method; these figures do not guarantee transformer loss or efficiency.

Core delivery formats

Delivery format
Cut laminations
Identified cut pieces for factories that build the joint, stack and clamp the core in-house.
Delivery: pieces grouped by the lamination schedule.

Delivery format
Pre-stacked packets
Counted lamination packets arranged in their stacking sequence for core assembly at your factory.
Delivery: identified packets with orientation and sequence retained.

Delivery format
Assembled core
The stacked magnetic circuit with the specified clamping structure, prepared for winding integration.
Delivery: core assembly with the specified accessories and handling provisions.
Supply scope
Built for repeat production
Each core design has a controlled material specification, lamination schedule and drawing revision. Identified lamination groups keep repeat batches organised from cutting through assembly.
Before ordering
Can several core sizes be quoted together?
Yes. Provide the drawing list, revision and quantity for each item. Material and production planning can then be reviewed across the full requirement without mixing the individual specifications.
Repeat production
Specify each distribution core before batch cutting
- Drawing control
- Drawing number, revision and quantity for every core size; keep different designs separately identified.
- Material definition
- CRGO grade, thickness and coating, with coil identification linked to the production batch.
- Lamination schedule
- Limb and yoke profiles, piece quantities, step-lap sequence and the required packet markings.
- Assembly acceptance
- Window, limb, centre-distance and stack dimensions, checked to the agreed drawing tolerances and measurement conditions.
- First article and batch records
- Agree whether first-article or sample-batch approval is required before repeat production. Define batch markings, sampling, inspection records and the receiving handover record in the order.
- Delivery condition
- Cut pieces, pre-stacked packets or assembled cores; identify the clamping and accessories included in the order.
Burr height and stacking factor are process controls, not stand-alone guarantees of transformer loss or efficiency. Finished-core testing, sampling and acceptance limits require an agreed test basis.

Distribution transformer cores for Southeast Asia
Our existing project reference shows batch core production to customer drawings for a Southeast Asian customer. See the project photograph and recorded supply scope.
For a new or repeat enquiry, send the drawing list, quantities by size, material specification, delivery format and destination. Confirm the latest revision rather than relying only on a previous purchase-order number. Use the RFQ checklist to keep the quotation basis consistent.
