Technical Standards for High-Efficiency CRGO Transformer Cores (IEC 60076 Compliant)

To minimize no-load losses and excitation current, Chenfan Electric manufactures CRGO transformer cores in strict accordance with international standards (IEC 60076). Our production focuses on precise magnetic and dimensional controls:

  • Premium Hi-B Materials: Utilizing high-permeability grain-oriented silicon steel (e.g., 23RK075, 27ZH100) to ensure high magnetic flux density and low hysteresis loss.
  • Guaranteed Specific Core Loss: For 0.23mm thickness grades, the core loss is strictly controlled under 0.75 W/kg (tested at 1.7T, 50Hz).
  • Micro-Tolerance & Burr Control: Slitting and shearing burr heights are restricted to under 0.02mm. This prevents inter-lamination short circuits and ensures a core stacking factor of >97%.
  • Advanced Joint Configuration: Implementing fully mitered step-lap designs (typically 3 to 7 steps) to drastically reduce localized flux saturation, cross-flux, and audible noise levels at the joints.
  • Stress-Relief Annealing: Applied to restore magnetic properties altered during the shearing and punching processes.
